Terms of Service
The terms that apply to custom development work, products bought through our Tebex store and use of this website.
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Plain summary. We build what we quote, you own the delivered work once it is paid for, our products are licensed per customer, and payments are handled by Tebex. This summary is not a substitute for the terms below.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by [YOUR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME] ("Build Right Studios", "we", "us"), trading as Build Right Studios, based in [YOUR COUNTRY]. You can reach us at aaronwilliams.ja@gmail.com or in our Discord server.
2. Agreement
By using this website, commissioning work or buying a product from us, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a community, business or other organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our services.
3. Custom development work
3.1 Quotes and scope
Every project is quoted in writing with a defined scope, price and timeline before work begins. Prices shown on this website are starting points, not binding offers. A quote is valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Changes
Work outside the agreed scope is a change request. We will quote it separately, and you decide whether to proceed. We are not obliged to carry out unquoted work.
3.3 Your responsibilities
You agree to provide the access, assets and decisions a project needs, including server access, framework details, branding and any third-party accounts. Delays in providing them move the timeline accordingly.
3.4 Payment
Unless a quote says otherwise, custom projects require a deposit before work starts, with the balance due on delivery. Larger projects are invoiced in milestones. We may pause work on overdue invoices.
3.5 Delivery and acceptance
We deliver source code, documentation and deployment support as described in the quote. You have the support window stated in your quote (14 days on Starter projects and 30 days on Standard projects unless agreed otherwise) to report bugs in the delivered scope, which we fix at no extra cost. Bugs caused by third-party updates, your own modifications or unrelated resources are not covered.
3.6 Ownership
Once a project is paid for in full, you own the custom code we wrote for you. We keep ownership of our own pre-existing libraries, tools and generic components, and grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of the delivered work. We may describe the work in general terms in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
4. Products and the Tebex store
Ready-made products are sold through our Tebex store. Tebex Limited acts as the merchant of record for those purchases, which means Tebex processes your payment, handles tax where it applies and issues your receipt. Tebex's own terms and privacy policy apply to the transaction, alongside ours.
Products are licensed, not sold. See our Licence Terms for what you may and may not do with them, and our Refund Policy for refunds and chargebacks.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use our work, products or services to break the law, or the terms of FiveM, RedM, Cfx.re, Rockstar Games, Discord, Tebex or any other platform you deploy them on.
- Do not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish our code except as your licence allows.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or probe this website or any system we run for you.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading content through our contact form.
6. Third-party platforms
Our work runs on platforms we do not control, including Cfx.re (FiveM and RedM), Discord, Tebex, Stripe and your hosting provider. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes or updates, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. Changes they make may require paid maintenance work.
7. Warranties
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond the support window in your quote, our work is provided "as is". We do not warrant that software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet a requirement that was never part of the agreed scope.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost players, lost revenue or lost or corrupted data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the work or product the claim relates to in the 12 months before the claim.
You are responsible for keeping your own backups before any deployment we make on your behalf.
9. Termination
Either of us may end a project in writing. If you end a project part-way, you pay for the work completed up to that point and we deliver what has been paid for. We may end a project if payment is overdue, if you breach these terms, or if communication or conduct makes the work unworkable.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here when you commission work or make a purchase is the version that applies to it. The "last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY], and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Note for the site owner: this is a starting template, not legal advice. Fill in the business name and country in src/config.ts, and have a lawyer review it before relying on it commercially.
