The problem

Urgent issues need to reach the right people straight away, even when they have the app closed. BRS Pager System is the studio’s private team app, built to do exactly that.

What we built

  1. 01Built emergency pages that ring full-screen on every device, with one tap to acknowledge.
  2. 02Added escalation: if nobody responds, the page rings again and then widens to more people.
  3. 03Gave incidents priorities, assignees, comments and a full timeline.
  4. 04Built in text channels, direct messages and voice channels, with voice running on LiveKit.
  5. 05Secured sign-ins with short-lived access tokens and refresh tokens that change on every use, so reusing a stolen one cancels the whole session.
  6. 06Shipped an installable React web app for phones and an Electron desktop app that stays in the system tray, so pages still ring.
