Flawless Bot

The problem

A Discord server can be destroyed in minutes if an admin account is compromised or a staff member turns on the community. This is known as a nuke. Flawless is built to stop one and to make recovery possible.

What we built

1. 01Restricted Discord’s own kick and ban actions to the server owner, so anyone else who tries is banned immediately.
2. 02Removed unapproved bots on arrival and banned the admin who added them.
3. 03Stripped all roles from non-owners who create or delete channels, and removed any unapproved new channel.
4. 04Blocked non-owners from handing out administrator roles: the recipient loses the role and the person who gave it loses all of theirs.
5. 05Added auto-mod for banned words and spam, and an image captcha for new members to keep bots out.
6. 06Built backups that save and rebuild a server’s channels, categories and roles.
