Billing Sync

The problem

Supporter perks were granted by hand. Someone paid, a staff member eventually noticed and added a role, and the spreadsheet meant to track it drifted from reality. Failed webhooks quietly lost payments.

What we built

1. 01Consumed Stripe webhooks in an idempotent worker, so a repeated delivery never grants a perk twice.
2. 02Assigned and removed Discord roles automatically as subscriptions start, renew and lapse.
3. 03Wrote each transaction to Google Sheets, so the finance view stays current without manual entry.
4. 04Issued invoices automatically, with retry-safe handling and logging so a temporary outage self-heals.
