The problem
Publishing a paid resource meant building it by hand, obfuscating it, writing a changelog, zipping it and uploading it to Tebex. Every manual step is a chance to ship the wrong file or forget the release notes.
What we built
- 01Made a Git tag the only trigger, so releasing is one command and the tag is the source of truth.
- 02Automated the build and escrow step in GitHub Actions, with the artifact checked before it is published.
- 03Generated the changelog from commit history, so release notes always match what actually changed.
- 04Uploaded the package to Tebex through its API, failing loudly if any step did not succeed.
